CA. 500 AD Very Rare, Late Roman / Early Byzantine solid gold marriage/wedding ring. The band is of open-design type; applied square-shaped bezel depicting a couple facing each other; above them inscription "VIVATAS" - "Live Long" in Latin. Very good Condition; wearable; 22mm (inner diameter); 10 grams; Provenance: From an old British collection, formed since the 1980s in London.
