Crusaders Era Silver Ring with Three triangle Domes of Cathedral & Bird (Hochenstaufen's Symbol) and a Star of Bethlehem.
12th.-13th. Century AD.
Crusaders Era Silver Ring with a Fascinating Motif of a big Cathedrals with three triangle-shaped Domes surmounted with Crosses and a Black Bird Symbol and a Star (Probably the bird follows the Star of Bethlehem) of dynasty of Hochenstaufen and the famous king Frederick II who ruled the Holy Roman Empire and involved in the 5th. and 6th. Crusade also a king from Jerusalem between 1220-1225.
He believed that he was the direct succesor of the Roman Emperors from the antiquity and was very active to rebuild the Glory of the Ancient Roman Empire trying to expand mostly with a success.
This nice ring probably belonged to the noble man from the circle of the dynasty or his supporter. Made in niello teqnique. Slightly worn but every detail visable and still Wearable!
