A rare Roman intaglio stone in a possibly later ring; Substantial gold ring with an open-work design band and elliptical bezel with an inset intaglio depicting Salus in a Chariot/ Quadriga; Salus is a Roman god of safety and well-being (welfare, health and prosperity) of both the individual and the state.
