An oblate sapphire-coloured glass bead with Kufic inscription set into a silver finger ring. 14 grams, 33mm overall, 20.34mm internal diameter (approximate size British V, USA 10 1/2, Europe 23.87, Japan 23) (1 1/4"). From the private collection of Edward Lucie-Smith, an English writer, poet, art critic, curator and broadcaster; the collection formed since the 1990s. [No Reserve] Very fine condition.
