Roman Gold Ring with Fortuna Gemstone

A heavy gold ring with pentagonal-section hoop, 'inset' shoulders and octagonal bezel with raised oval-shaped setting with beaded border, set with a nicolo(?) gemstone with Fortuna standing right, holding cornucopia and other attributes. 18.27 grams, 26.83mm overall, 17.56mm internal diameter (approximate size British O, USA 7, Europe 14.98, Japan 14) (1"). Very fine condition.
