Rare Ancient Roman gold ring; a well-preserved hoop forming an elliptical bezel; beautifully carved green intaglio stone inserted in the middle; depicting a standing stag near a tree; the standing stag is often associated with the god Satyr; it was later on used in Christianity as the prototype of depicting the Devil.
