the hexagonal bezel claw-set with a negative kufic inscription, the sides of the bezel with scrolling arabesques and stippling, the shoulders and shanks with applied gold decoration forming arabesque-filled trefoils and diamond shapes, the underside of the bezel with an ogival medallion
