A silver-gilt finger ring with lozengiform bezel, central skull with surrounding legend '*MEMENTOMORI' (reminder of the dead"). 5.45 grams, 24.17mm overall, 20.42mm internal diameter (approximate size British P, USA 7 1/2, Europe 16.23, Japan 15) (1"). From an East London collection; previously in a collection formed between 1990-2000. Fine condition. A large wearable size.
