An Islamic dirham with concentric rings of display script and central panel of three lines of text; set into a later substantial silver finger ring comprising a broad lentoid-section hoop with conical underside, waisted bezel with ellipsoid plaque; bands of hatching, guilloche, ropework and other detailing to the hoop and bezel. 62 grams, 45.41mm overall, 19.61mm internal diameter (approximate size British T 1/2, USA 9 3/4, Europe 21.89, Japan 21) (1 3/4").
